AMAICC 2018, Bringing Home Awards & Recognition

Congrats to our team for their wins at the 2018 American Marketing Association’s International Collegiate Conference from April 5th-7th!
Joining over 1,300 marketing students from across North America, this year was CAPUMA’s fourth year as part of the AMA, and what better way to celebrate this then winning 3 awards!

Being one of the smaller chapters within the AMA, these accomplishments are no small feat, with the Case-Team alone spending over an entire term preparing for their case competition!

This year the case-team (Rochelle Leblanc, Lexi Wuthrich, Rosemary Preckel, Madison Heidema) took 3rd Place out of 103 schools for the Case Competition sponsored by Mary Kay Cosmetics to continue to demonstrate CAPUMA’s ability to perform on an International Level!

Our marketing strategy team (Ileana O’Keefe & Ludwig Coleman) took honourable mention for 6th place out of 99 teams demonstrating even a team of two can represent!

Finally, CAPUMA as a whole won an Honourable Mention for Outstanding Marketing Week showing CAPUMA is still growing and achieving year-on-year!
