Andrea Eby, is a dedicated professional who has guided CAPUMA to improve operations and promotions as a collegiate chapter with each passing year. Her efforts were recognized at the 2017 AMAICC when she won the Hugh G Wales Award. Andrea’s encouragement to participate in both the AMA and CAPUMA has played an important role in the success of the members within the CAPUMA chapter. Andrea has been further recognized by Capilano University School of Business when she received in 2018 the Capilano Employee Recognition Award from her continuous dedication as a professor and advisor to students. CAPUMA’s performance in both local conferences as well as the AMAICC have proven to show how her guidance and passion for helping students help develop and prepare CAPUMA members for their experiences after university.
David Amos, has been a committed adviser through the past several years by providing continuous support and industry level knowledge to CAPUMA members. Through David’s efforts acting as sales competition mentor to students is has earned CAPUMA the following awards: placing 1st at the BCITMA Sales Competition in 2018 and 10th place in AMA TEKSystem Sales Competition in 2017. David’s ability to mentor and motivate Capilano University students to get involved and participate in the AMA has helped to grow CAPUMA into the leading student association it is today. Furthermore David continues to provide his experience through his dedication to guide more students to become involved which has assisted in the success of CAPUMA.
